If this amount is used, 139 euros per person would be distributed equally.
The vice chairman of the FPD Lukas Köhler is currently talking about an amount of just under 100 euros.

There are also challenges for the project on a technical level.
Because there is no central body responsible for federal payments, distributing the funds is complicated.
The Ministry of Finance is working on a solution.
A payout channel should be set up by the end of the year.
The tax identification number should be linked to the citizens’ respective account numbers.
A federal authority should then carry out the payment.
Time is still needed until the end of 2024 to clarify the final details and prepare the technical implementation of the project.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the climate money could be paid out at the beginning of 2025.
That would be two years earlier than Lindner announced.
But it is not yet clear that the coalition will agree on who will get what share of the money.
If the technical requirements are met by the end of the year but no decision has yet been made, the FDP plans to take up the issue in the election campaign.
Despite the existing hurdles, the bonus can most likely be expected earlier than originally announced.
