The reason: the pigment colors with which a tattoo is performed are mixed with parts of a substance, which the body cannot reject.
This is what makes the tattoo permanent.
The solutions given at that time were not very elegant.
One solution was surgery to remove the tattoo: excision of the skin on which the tattoo is located and suturing of the skin - a procedure that naturally created a scar.
Another solution was to remove a tattoo by sanding the skin and removing the dermis.
In recent years, there has been a far-reaching technological development in the field of the laser, which is used by us a lot in the field of aesthetics - from laser hair removal to treatment of skin spots.
Using this laser tattoo removal technology, the laser beam is absorbed by the pigments of the tattoo under the dermis (top skin layer) - and breaks them down by heating.
The resulting burn heals naturally and the body emits the pigments of the tattoo.
