Harry and Meghan are catching up: the Dukes of Sussex have "a series" of projects for Netflix in the pipeline for 2024 including a film and two "unscripted" projects, Bela Bajaria, the platform's head of content, announced today in streaming during the launch of the new programming for the year that has just begun.

In 2020, after the divorce from the royal house and the move to the USA, the prince and his wife signed a five-year production agreement worth, according to rumors, 100 million dollars.

The agreement will therefore expire in 2025: according to some, the couple's productivity would not have been up to the level of the compensation received, therefore creating doubts about the stability of their relationship with the streaming giant.

“They actually have a number of initiatives in development,” Bajaria said at an event today in Hollywood, noting that all projects are “at a very early stage.”

The two 'unscripted' projects would be documentaries, while the film could be the adaptation of the novel Meet Me at the Lake by Carley Fortune: it is set in Toronto where Meghan lived during the filming of the Suits series.

The Sussexes' partnership with Netflix has yielded mixed results so far.

The Harry and Meghan docuseries was Netflix's most successful documentary when it launched in December 2022, while both Live to Lead and Heart of Invictus failed to gain audiences.
