For the 2024 Ecobonus the available resources amount to 950 million euros.
Mimit made this known during the automotive discussion at Palazzo Piacentini.
Several new features have been announced for cars: increase in incentives for electric and plug-in hybrids;
contribution proportional to the age of the scrapped vehicle;
Euro 5s can also be diverted. The maximum contribution to scrapping rises from 5 thousand to 13,750 euros.
For the less well-off classes, among the various measures, there is a 25% increase in contributions, as well as incentives for used vehicles with scrapping, up to Euro 4, for vehicles up to 25 thousand euros.
The 950 million are divided as follows: 793 million for cars;
35 million for mopeds, motorcycles, quadricycles;
53 million for light commercial vehicles;
20 million for used cars;
50 million for long-term rental.
