"Enough with the chatter, Meloni is tough on Stellantis but he doesn't have a strategy and the government presents itself to the company with hat in hand.
They continue to threaten to no longer give incentives but Stellantis continues to use them without respecting conditionalities. A turning point is needed".
Elly Schlein declared this in a note.
"Tavares has launched a challenge, the government must take it up and not allow the provocation of the CEO of Stellantis to fall. The hypothesis of an Italian participation in Stellantis which will balance the French one must be taken seriously".
Schlein also supports the need to ask for "clear commitments on production levels, on maintaining employment and on strategies for related industries", as well as that of working "with facts and not just with words so that other producers also arrive in Italy".
