It is extremely unpleasant not to have toilet paper available after using the toilet.
A rail customer found himself in this dilemma in an ICE4.
Munich – Customers had just calmed down after one of the longest rail strikes in history, but Deutsche Bahn is facing new trouble.
Although anger may be too much of a good thing.
Excitement is better.
It's about toilet paper dispensers in the new ICE4 trains, which are proving to be impractical.
The matter is always annoying.
Train customer complains about toilet paper dispensers on the ICE4
Especially when you're sitting on the toilet on the train and you just can't get to the paper.
Apparently a traveler found himself in this predicament.
He shared a picture on Reddit and asked: "Which sadist came up with the toilet paper dispensers on the ICE4?" In the photo you can see that there are two rolls behind a glass door.
However, paper does not hang out in a way that you can easily remove it.
The railway customer writes on Reddit that he had to “squeeze the finders in ten times” to get to the paper, and points out that “a child or someone older would never have made it”.
"And then?
Call train crew to wipe it down?” he asks with a good dose of sarcasm.

The users respond with a lot of humor.
The door is locked, but you can open it.
“To get the key, you have to reach deep into the bowl with your arm,” jokes one.
Another recommends “pulling the nipple through the tab” and “using the small crank to turn it all the way up”.

Another user suggests opening the lock from the inside.
“Reach through the slot at the top, feel the latch and turn it 90 degrees,” he writes.
This might actually be possible if it's a square cam lock.
Such locks are used when a door only needs to be opened from one side.
This is likely in this case.
If only the rail customer had received this tip when he needed it.
It would have been worth a try.
Since October, the railway has required additional data to be provided when purchasing a saver ticket.
