Alec Baldwin has pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter of film director Alyna Hutchins on the set of the film 'Rust' in 2021.
The American media reported it.
The actor was supposed to appear in a New Mexico court today for the hearing, but canceled.
Baldwin was rehearsing a scene near Santa Fe when the gun he was holding and which should not have contained 'live' bullets was fired from the gun that wounded Souza in the shoulder and, ricocheting, killed Hutchins.
Director Joel Souza was also injured in the accident.
The actor faces between 18 months and five years behind bars
