It's a reality, farmers' pensions are low.

According to figures from the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA), 170,000 former farm managers who completed a full career at the end of 2022 received an annual basic pension of 10,370 euros gross, or 864 euros monthly.

All career lengths combined, this amount falls to 566 euros gross monthly.

To this basic pension, however, we must add the supplementary pension but also the pensions acquired in other plans, which concerns 73.2% of retirees.
