A look back at what the editorial team absolutely wants to share this week.

Who is Adrian Appiolaza, the new AD of Moschino?

Adrian Appiolaza named creative director of Moschino.

Daria Svertilova for Moschino

Almost a year after the departure of Jeremy Scott and the sudden and premature death of Davide Renne who had been chosen to succeed him, it is the turn of Argentinian designer Adrian Appiolaza to take the reins of Moschino.

Born in Buenos Aires in 1972, he boasts a solid curriculum vitae, with more than twenty years of experience in major fashion houses.

A graduate of Central Saint Martins, he cut his teeth at Alexander McQueen, Chloé, then Miu Miu, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton.

From 2014 he served as design director for Loewe.

The pixel sweaters, anthurium dresses and Beyoncé's jumpsuit are him, under the aegis of JW Anderson.

Also a great collector of brands like Issey Miyake, Martin Margiela or Comme des Garçons, Adrian Appiolaza promises to bring a keen eye to all Moschino collections, men's, women's and accessories.

1978, big year for Prada

The Italian brand undertakes to commemorate a unique turning point in its creative journey: the year 1978. That year, it presented for the first time its line of nylon accessories (which it now recycles with Re-Nylon) , which will give the brand revolutionary energy, and Miuccia Prada unshakeable legitimacy.

Prada is taking over the Galeries Lafayette, decorating the walls with images by photographer Albert Watson, embellishing the floor with black and white marble checkerboards reminiscent of the brand's first boutique in Milan.

The brand is reissuing (in limited edition) for the occasion the book Prada in Milano, initially produced in the 1980s by photographer Albert Watson.

There we find Miuccia Prada's obsessions: leather goods, her grandfather's collections and archives from the early days of the brothers Mario and Martino Prada, the Fratelli Prada.

Back to where it all began, then.

The Prada pop-up at Galeries Lafayette is open until February 25, 2024, before moving to other cities around the world.

In a three-piece suit, Gisèle Bündchen is the big Boss

The Boss brand projected a giant hologram of model Gisèle Bündchen in London.

Hugo Boss

On the night of January 31 to February 1, Boss projected a ten meter high hologram into London's Potter Fields Park, near the iconic Tower Bridge.

A giant image which represented the model Gisèle Bündchen, dressed as Boss from head to toe.

And for good reason, the Brazilian model is the new ambassador of the Boss spring-summer 2024 campaign, presented with the mantra “Live by your own rules”.

A collection that plays the feminine suit card worn in the spirit of the

Clare Waight Keller's efficient wardrobe at Uniqlo

Light materials and solid colors make up Clare Waight Keller's obvious wardrobe for Uniqlo.

Uniqlo

Clare Waight Keller signs a second collection for Uniqlo.

The line called “Uniqlo: C” offers a minimalist and utilitarian wardrobe.

Each piece is available in several colors: cream, khaki, black and royal blue.

Buttoned cardigans and short t-shirts, trench coats and blazer jackets, as well as pleated skirts and pleated pants together form a sort of capsule

wardrobe

, which allows you to put on all your clothes the ones with the others.

A wardrobe faithful to the simplicity of Uniqlo and the sobriety of Clare Wight Keller, with a little twist: tartans which appear on certain pieces, such as shirts or caps.

An even cooler legendary jacket

The Copeland jacket from Aigle.

Eagle

At Aigle, rubber boots do not have a monopoly on transgenerational accessories.

The brand run by the Parisian trio of Etude Studio reminds us of the Copeland jacket, which established itself in the utility clothing landscape in the mid-1980s. Worn by generations of children and adults, here it is brought up to date, still as resistant and waterproof, but here equipped with the MTD membrane (2 layers).

Understand, a material patented by the brand which aims to let the body breathe while protecting it from the cold and the rain.
