A delegation from the commissioner management of Ilva in extraordinary administration entered the Taranto steel plant to start the scheduled inspection after reports from the unions denouncing the progressive shutdown of the plants.

In recent days it was the Minister of Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, who requested an intervention by Invitalia and the commissioners of Ilva in extraordinary administration in order to guarantee production continuity.

Present, among others, are the commissioners Antonio Lupo and Francesco Ardito and the manager Giancarlo Quaranta.

Outside the factory management, a sit-in is underway by entrepreneurs from the associated industries belonging to Aigi who are showing empty bins with two dates imprinted on them: 2015, the year in which Ilva was placed under administration and the companies lost credits for 150 million , and 2024, the year in which extraordinary administration could be used again.
