"Without prejudice that as far as criminal law is concerned it is the responsibility of the member states, Hungary has signed up to the European Convention on Human Rights, therefore Ilaria Salis' conditions are a problem which also concerns the rule of law in Hungary", explained PD MEP Mercedes Bresso, during the pre-plea briefing of Italian MEPs.
