  • 300 g spelled flour type 630

  • 500 g Skyr (alternative: yogurt)

  • 1 packet of baking powder

  • Salt (optional)

The preparation is simple and quick:

  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C top/bottom heat (180 °C fan oven).

  • Mix flour and baking powder in a bowl.

    Add Skyr and optionally some salt and knead everything into a smooth, non-sticky dough.

  • Divide the dough into six to eight equal pieces on a lightly floured surface and shape into rolls.

  • Place the rolls on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with water and bake until light brown, about 15 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and allow to cool.
