With the meeting between France and Ireland as part of the Six Nations tournament, France 2 largely took the lead in audiences this


France lost heavily against Ireland… and France 2 won largely against the other TV channels.

Friday evening, 6.6 million viewers followed the France-Ireland match, played as part of the Six Nations tournament and which ended with a score of 17-38 in favor of Ireland.

France 2 therefore takes first place on the audience podium and brings together 33.6% of the public present in front of their television set.

The second winner of the evening is far behind: on France 3, the rebroadcast of an episode of the series “Cassandre” with Gwendoline Hamon and Alexandre Varga attracts 2.9 million people (14.4% market share) .

When it was first broadcast in May 2021, this same fiction was a hit with 4.9 million viewers.

TF 1 defends itself well with its entertainment “The big blooper”

TF 1 ranks third with “Le grand bêtisier”, presented by Karine Ferri and Christophe Beaugrand.

The entertainment amused 2.1 million fans of gags and surprises of all kinds (i.e. 10.5% audience share).

For its part, M 6 did not shine with its rebroadcast of “Cauchemar en cuisine”, which only attracted 887,000 fans of Philippe Etchebest's rants (4.5% of the public).

France 5 is doing well thanks to “La Cérémonie” by Claude Chabrol with Sandrine Bonnaire and Isabelle Huppert: this drama inspired by a news item attracted 796,000 moviegoers (4.1% market share).

Arte is also doing well with the broadcast of an episode of the mini-series “Loulou”: the fiction attracts 679,000 viewers (3.3% audience share).

Note: on C8, the fourth evening of “Welcome to the Monastery”, a reality TV show which takes place in two religious communities, intrigued 430,000 people (2.1% of the public).

When it was launched on January 12, the program brought together 646,000 curious people.
