A video of
Anne Hathaway
(41) resurfaced and went viral, in which the actress is seen refusing to be photographed with fans.
The video, which was uploaded to the networks in 2022, showed the star exchanging a few words and briefly interacting with fans as she walked towards her car after the Valentino fashion show in Italy.
In the short clip, she was seen telling the crowd to be "calm" in Italian, while signaling them to be quiet.
"I can't take pictures with everyone," Hathaway said, "but I'll stand here and wave if you want to take a picture. I can't sign for everyone, there are too many of you."
Cheeky or polite?

Not all fans remained calm, some raised the issue of the incident on the net to hear the opinion of others whether it was "impudent" or not?
This is after she said "thank you for understanding" several times during the video and apologized to another fan for not being able to take a picture with him.
"She behaved politely," wrote one of the fans, "very polite, celebrities are not obligated to communicate with fans. At least she did it politely," added another and while a third expected: "She could have easily walked away and ignored them."
While most fans agreed that there was nothing wrong with the "respectful" response of the actress, others did not really agree with her behavior: "In all the time it took for her to be condescending, she could have already signed and taken these pictures with them. It was really unnecessary," and another agreed "Fake politeness and impudence at the same time."
