Joining the threats:
Another representative in Eurovision 2024 is threatening to cancel her participation in the European singing competition due to Israel's participation in it.
The folk-rock band Gota was chosen last night (Saturday) to represent Norway in the upcoming competition, after winning the local preliminary.
Before the preview, her friends said that they would consider canceling their participation in the competition because of the "Iron Swords" war.

"The extreme and unbearable situation in Gaza must end as soon as possible," said the group, which has been operating in the country for more than 20 years, before the Norwegian preview began.
"With this whole situation, we all agree that Israel's participation is a bit problematic. We will need time to discuss it. If we win on Saturday, it is something that we will need some time to decide what is the best step."
Now, after Gota won, the Norwegian Broadcasting Union is waiting for the decision of the band members.

Norway is not the only country threatening not to participate in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest if Israel competes in it, this after Iceland announced that whoever wins its previous contest will be able to decide whether to participate in the competition or not.
As a reminder, according to various reports, a Palestinian singer from East Jerusalem named Bashar Murad is expected to participate in the Icelandic competition, so he may represent the country in the popular singing competition.
As a reminder, Israel's representative for the competition has not yet been determined, but this will change next Tuesday, when the "Next Eurovision Star" final will take place - with the winner being our next representative or performance in the upcoming competition, which will be held this year in Sweden.
