CAIRO - "Our position is firm: we reject the forced displacement of Palestinians."

This was said by the French Foreign Minister, Stephane Sejourné, in a press conference in Cairo with his Egyptian colleague, Sameh Shoukry, in the first stage of the trip to the Middle East as head of French diplomacy which will then take him to Jordan, tomorrow to Israel and the Territories Palestinians and finally to Lebanon on Tuesday.


    Sejourné then said: "We are worried about the Israeli bombing of Rafah", while the Egyptian Foreign Minister warned "of the danger that the conflict will spread to the Middle East", writes al Arabiya.


    "We welcome the French Foreign Minister to Cairo and value our strategic relations. We look forward to working together to push our partnership towards new horizons and strengthen our coordination in addressing challenges," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote on Egyptian Foreign Affairs accompanied the statements with a photo of Sejourné and Shoukry.
