“A small layer of fat can’t do any harm in winter” – this is the motto according to which a cute squirrel raids a feeder on TikTok and is celebrated by users.
Squirrels don't hibernate, they just hibernate, which they break for a few hours every day to look for food.
The rodents don't mind that the food isn't actually intended for them.
A garden owner from the USA experienced this first hand because she is regularly visited by a particularly stubborn squirrel.
A TikTok video shows how the animal doesn't stop at even more complicated bird feeders.
“Faux” – the insatiable squirrel impresses on TikTok

Squirrels are popular animals, especially in the world of social media, due to their cute appearance and curious nature.
American TikTok user
creationbycarson
made thousands of followers happy when she posted a video of the squirrel “Faux”.
In the viral video you can see the rodent attacking a bird feeder again.
Faux is not a new face - as the subtitle and one say, he visits the user regularly.
Most recently, he thrilled viewers by opening a bulging bird feeder so that the seeds and grains rained down on him.

The squirrel, which has already eaten a small layer of fat, seems to want to continue to prepare for bad days.
It also unabashedly uses the new feeder, which is supposed to be harder to crack.
But after just a few steps, the clever animal figured out that the green lid can be removed.
And so Faux eats his way through the sunflower seeds, linseeds and other grains, visibly satisfied.
As if that wasn't cute enough, a final snapshot shows the mammal putting the green lid on its head.
