"I beg you, I beg you, don't hurt me, let me go...".
These were the words with which the 13-year-old raped last January 30 in the public bathrooms of Villa Bellini in Catania attempted to dissuade the members of the pack, made up of seven boys, three of whom were minors, of Egyptian origin.
The rape by two members of the group took place in front of the eyes of the victim's 17-year-old boyfriend, who was held down by the other five boys.

Today validation hearing for the 7 of the pack
The hearing to validate the precautionary measures against the seven members of the gang, three of whom are minors, who on 30 January were said to have been the authors of the gang violence against a 13-year-old girl which took place in the public toilets of Villa Bellini in Catania.
The request for validation was made to the investigating judge by the deputy prosecutor of Catania Sebastiano Ardita, by the deputy Anna Trinchillo and by the prosecutor for minors of the capital Carla Santocono.
Only one of the members of the pack, who collaborated with the investigators allowing the identification of the other six boys, all of Egyptian origin, is under house arrest. On the front of the investigations, conducted by the Carabinieri of the Catania investigative unit, the outcome is recorded of the analyzes conducted on the rape victim's clothing.
Through DNA it was possible to identify the biological traces of one of the arrested minors, while the outcome of the comparison on another of the arrested minors is still awaited.
