that covers a large part of the city of
San Carlos de Bariloche
.
These are forest fires in different locations.
One is the one recognized in Los Alerces that, depending on the wind, it usually brings smoke to the southern city;
and a new one unleashed last night in the
Nahuel Huapi National Park
, where trails and tourist roads were closed as a precaution.
The forest fire is in the
southern area of the park
, it was reported.
And by water, two crews arrived and are working at the site.
In any case and as a preventive measure, the Bariloche Civil Protection area reported that they closed all the paths that leave or arrive at
Pampa Linda, Bahía López and Cerrito Lao Llao
;
also access to the
Tronador Circuit
in the surroundings of Bariloche.
The fire at this time is taking place in the
Brazo Tristeza
area , and "resources are being deployed and the situation is being evaluated," the Park authorities reported in a statement released this Monday morning.
"For extreme security reasons, the trail to
Laguna Ilon y los Césares and 5 lagoons
is closed ," it was explained in the text and it was specified that excursions in said area are also suspended.
In addition, the access to the Tronador Circuit, all paths that leave or arrive at Pampa Linda and access to the López refuge
were preventively closed
.

During the morning, a helicopter with technical and operational personnel is flying over the area in order to evaluate the situation, and work is being carried out in coordination with the Argentine Naval Prefecture.
The affected area is made up of
coihue and cypress forest,
with a topography that is very difficult to access.

"People arrive only by boat or they were walking and during the night they stayed in a place, they had a bonfire, then they couldn't control it or didn't know how to control it and that causes the fire. That's why the ban on not setting fire in places that are not authorized, here we have a consequence," reported Carlos Madjinca, secretary of Citizen Protection of the municipality.
The official explained in dialogue with Diario Río Negro that another fire source is also being attacked in the area called "La Rinconada."
"At the moment we are attending to the emergency and when we have more specific data we will know how much of the area the fire affected," he concluded.
