The best chocolate cake ever is made with just two ingredients:

  • 270g milk chocolate

  • 4 large eggs

The recipe for this quick chocolate cake only consists of two ingredients.

The list of ingredients couldn't be shorter and the preparation is explained in just a few sentences:

  • Line the bottom of the springform pan (20 cm diameter) with baking paper.

    Preheat the oven to 170 °C fan oven.

  • Roughly chop the chocolate and melt it in a bowl in the microwave or over a hot water bath.

  • Separate eggs.

    Beat the egg whites with the beaters of the hand mixer to form stiff egg whites.

  • Gradually stir the egg yolks into the melted chocolate.

    Fold the egg whites into the dough in portions and pour everything into the springform pan.

  • Bake the chocolate cake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes.

    Sprinkle with a little powdered sugar if desired and enjoy.
