The president of Fisi, Flavio Roda, expressed himself thus after the training accident suffered by Sofia Goggia, who underwent surgery in Milan to reduce the double fracture suffered in her right leg.
The mayor of Bergamo, Giorgio Gori, expressed his best wishes for a speedy recovery to the skier: "What bad luck Sofia - wrote the mayor on X -. A hug from all the people of Bergamo, get well and come back soon".
Even the president of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, expressed himself on social media: "One year ago and we look with hope and confidence at the incredible strength of our Bergamo team, in view of the 2025 World Cup and the 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics. Sofia, we are all counts" in belief that the skier "will perform yet another 'sporting miracle'".
"Bad, bad news" for Fontana, who invites Goggia to "take all the time necessary" thinking back to the "countless sporting miracles to which she has accustomed us in recent years".
