American rapper Killer Mike was arrested by police on the sidelines of the 66th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday, just after winning three awards at this equivalent of the music Oscars.
A video posted on social media shows him handcuffed and escorted by agents through the corridors of the Crypto Arena, where the ceremony takes place.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, which cites a member of stadium security, the rapper was arrested for a matter that had nothing to do with the event.

In a post published in the evening, the Los Angeles Police Department said that Killer Mike, born Michael Render, had been arrested following a physical altercation and was being released.
The Associated Press agency specifies that the rapper is due to appear in court on February 29 in Los Angeles.
