She sent a message to her fans with a story on Instagram from her hospital bed where she thanks the doctors for saving her life and explaining why she disappeared from social media.
Lying in bed, with eyeglasses and a tired face, the former Miss Italy, wife of Alessandro Billy Costacurta, said: "Good morning, if I've disappeared these days it's because I've been in hospital, today they're releasing me luckily - I made my debut in a Story -. I had emergency abdominal surgery. A bit of a pain in peritonitis, I was admitted to the Ceccarini hospital in Riccione. I was here to visit my parents, they were all magnificent, everything Dr. Lucchi's staff, the nurses and the nurses. They treated me and saved me. Now I will slowly recover."
