A particularly fun Grammy night took place last night (Sunday) in Los Angeles with a line-up of the best stars plus surprise guest appearances by Mariah Carey and Celine Dion, who is currently on hiatus from her music career due to health issues.
Tonight's big winner is Taylor Swift, after a year of successful touring and re-released albums that have taken over the sales and airplay charts.
Swift became the first female artist ever to win a fourth Grammy Award for album of the year, but the outfit level did not register a major success.
The pop star wore a strapless white Schiaparelli dress with a deep slit, black elbow-length gloves, black peep-toe shoes and a mix and match of several choker necklaces from black diamonds to giant drop diamonds.

The big winner, at least from our point of view, is Miley Cyrus who won the solo performance of the year for the single flowers and whirled around in five great looks.
Three of them we liked the most - on the red carpet in Custom Margiela, a vintage piece from 1997 that gives off a warrior princess Xena vibe with all-over gold embellishments and precise coverage in the chest and crotch area.

Another look with which she went up to receive the award - a brown one-shoulder dress and M-T-R-Y-P-H with a deep slit to go crazy and a fur scarf all made by Gucci, which accompanied a playful winning speech: "I hope I didn't forget anyone in my acknowledgments, but There's a chance I forgot to put on underwear."
Iconic.
The hair for the evening was in the Dolly Parton atmosphere, graduated and full of volume and continued with her for the performance look as she was wearing a metallic fringe dress with a dignified cut-out in the stomach area - vintage Bob Mackie, a crazy dress previously worn by the one and only Cher.

If it is allowed to praise after she publicly apologized in an interview and expressed empathy for what is happening in Israel after the massacre of October 7 - Dua Lipa in a silver and successful scaled dress by Courreges and a stupid giant of diamonds by Tiffany.
In her hair, she stays true to the burgundy shade and it seems to work for her.

The man for whom age is not a factor, Lenny Kravitz, wore a transparent Margiela shirt studded with three huge crucifix chains, topped with a black leather sleeve that matched black leather skinny pants and a studded belt.
Rock and roll all the way.
Boring/obscure were Beyoncé's cowgirl block in a white hat and Louis Vuitton leather shorts plus the burnt palatine blonde she had to let go of quickly.
We understood that it was a wig and still - enough.
Olivia Rodrigo who was photographed next to her looked lovely in Versace, but without any novelty or interest.

A pleasant surprise came from Celine Dion, the superstar who has been missing from the stage for some time due to her health condition.
Dion looked great in a light pink Valentino wrap dress topped with a big brown coat from the brand, huge Tiffany and Cara diamonds.

Another temporary superstar - Mariah Carey who came up to present an award wearing a sparkling dress by Laura Besky, a designer who dresses the actress Sofia Vergara on a weekly basis.
Generous cleavage, successful cleavage and glam that is so associated with Carrie - careful babyliss and glamorous makeup with smoky eyes.
A surprise visit.

Also in the crowd - John Legend and the whoopie Chrissy Teigen in a black mini dress with a huge pink flower decoration by Sophie Couture combined with black high platform shoes.
Christina Aguilera was also present at the event and stood out thanks to her new and shapely figure which she launched in a light blue dress by Dolce, with long sleeves and a train, just a shame about the heavy make-up and the hair that was slicked back.
Less worked together.
