Over 14 million people are on alert in California and almost 700,000 are left without power due to the strong storms that are hitting the state in recent days.


    Yesterday in Los Angeles was the wettest day of the last 20 years, the equivalent of a month of rain in 24 hours, and some houses on Hollywood Hill were evacuated.

The local weather service reported "several landslides" in Beverly Hills, Malibu and Santa Monica.

For the metropolis the worst hours will be in the morning (local time), while by the evening the storm will move to the San Diego area by Monday evening.


   Between tonight and Tuesday morning, the most affected areas will be Southern California and the mountains in the area.
