"I am happy that the President deemed my resignation correct, which I confirm and which I look forward to handing over personally. I agree with everything he said, but I underline that the antitrust investigation into me started from anonymous letters, and I find it hard to believe that this cannot happen for other members of the Government, exposing us to a massacre of denunciations".
Thus Vittorio Sgarbi in a note.
"I am happy to meet the prime minister as soon as possible - he adds - to evaluate the compatibility between my resignation and my appeal, pending which self-suspension would perhaps be more pertinent".
"I never thought of not resigning, as I declared, but I posed the procedural problem of the appeal to the TAR foreseen in the same Agcom resolution" repeats the undersecretary again who reiterates: "in any case I confirm my resignation regardless of the outcome of the appeal to the TAR, as a voluntary and existential choice, but I underline that the Antitrust resolution can be invalidated by the TAR ruling".
