The 66th Grammy Awards ceremony was held tonight (between Sunday and Monday, Israel time) in Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift surprised fans and announced on stage a new album, Miley Cyrus won a Grammy for the first time, the CEO of the Academy paid tribute to those murdered and kidnapped from the Nuva Festival in the October Seven massacre, and Annie Lennox called for a ceasefire. 

The chairman of the Recording Academy, Harvey Mason Jr., commented on the stage of the ceremony about the massacre committed by Hamas on Black Sabbath at the Nova party near Kibbutz Reim: "Music must be our safe place, when it is violated, it hurts the heart of who we are.

On the seventh of October, we felt it, when we heard the tragic news from the "Nova" music festival, when over 360 music fans lost their lives, and another 40 were kidnapped.

This day and the days that followed were terrible days for our world."

The singer Taylor Swift won the Grammy in the album of the year category and the best pop vocal album for the album "Midnights", this is the 13th Grammy of the successful singer, who surprised her fans and announced on stage about a new album.

The award was given to her by the singer Celine Dion.
