Celebration all over the world for Nutella, a hazelnut spread from the Ferrero agri-food group created in 1964: today World Nutella Day is being celebrated, an initiative created on 5 February by Sara Rosso, an American blogger passionate about the product made by the Alba plant (Cuneo) which this year celebrates 60 years of existence.
The international day of celebration invites fans to share photos, ideas, inspirations and recipes on social media.
The use of the hashtags #worldnutelladay and #giveanutellasmile is recommended.
The brand will begin its 60th birthday celebrations with the #GiveANutellaSmile campaign, "creating opportunities to make its fans smile across all geographies."
"On the occasion of World Nutella Day, we celebrate a global brand driven by an innovative spirit and sixty years of history. - states Giovanni Ferrero, executive president of the Ferrero Group - Thanks to the unique taste of Nutella in recent years we have created a range of new products, such as Nutella B-ready, Nutella Biscuits, Nutella Muffins and Nutella Croissants.
Looking to the future, we will continue to strive to innovate, enhancing this legacy and finding new ways to bring the positivity of Nutella to fans.
In fact, we have been spreading smiles around the world for sixty years and, through passion, creativity and innovation, Nutella will continue to make consumers smile for years to come."
