Just before they see themselves on the TV screen, a launch was held this morning (Tuesday) of the new reality show "Peking Express" which will air on Sunday, 11/2 on Channel 13.
As part of the program, nine couples will face a journey, during which they will move between several countries, cross over 5,000 kilometers, be required to perform difficult tasks and all this without the help of the production in finding places to stay, food or transportation.
All this when they only have one dollar a day at their disposal
Oz Zahavi, who directs the program, introduced the participating couples, who had to get by on one dollar a day, for food, lodging and transportation.
"They were simply thrown in the capital of Cambodia and started there with a lot of tasks and challenges. The heat is hysterical. We filmed in the hottest season. A lot of improvisation of Israelis, courage, initiative and combination. The Israelis have their own style."
The members of the cast are Meitav and Aili, two brothers from a trio who maintain a difficult relationship and chose to come to "Peking Express" together against all odds.
The couple in love, Eden and Ilanit, who do everything together, decided to step out of their comfort zone.
The couple Liran and Anat left the children at home with the clear goal of taking first place.
"It's a crazy experience, you can't imagine it," says Liran.
"This is a race for crazy people only," says Anat.
"I was hungry for many days."

The sports friends Ram and Tal were looking to feel the adrenaline of the competition again, the mother Yifat together with the son Chen, the soulmates Maayan and Hani, Nili and Zohar who are in a second round relationship and also the surprising duo, Itzik Shay, Eileen's divorcee next to her current partner.
"It's an experience that no one can understand what you're going through there. They take you to the edge," say the good friends Liron and Maya.
