France lacks teachers.
It has even become one of the priority subjects of the Ministers of National Education who have succeeded one another on Rue de Grenelle in recent months.
During the last school year, 3,100 teachers were lacking and Gabriel Attal, now Prime Minister, immediately launched a project to strengthen the attractiveness of the profession.

During his general policy speech, the new head of government announced that the outlines of this plan will finally be revealed next March.
“A school that works is a school where our teachers are better trained.
We will reform initial teacher training to build the normal schools of the 21st century
(referring to the teacher training centers created under the Third Republic and which disappeared in 1989).
This reform will be presented by March,” explained the tenant of Matignon.
