The ancient Strada del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano-Valdobbiadene is also offering this year "Visit Cantina", an initiative which, starting from 10 February and throughout 2024, will offer the possibility of visiting estates, vineyards and cellars, conversing with the owners and tasting iconic wines, not only the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg and Cartizze Superiore Docg, but also Bianco and Rosso dei Colli di Conegliano Docg, Torchiato di Fregona Docg, Refrontolo passito Docg and Verdiso Igt.
A large group of members of the Road will open the gates and doors, who have made themselves available to tell their story, which inevitably fits into the broader narrative of a land that has always stood out for its generosity of fruit and biodiversity;
for this reason the wines, like the small local productions, stand out for their unique and unrepeatable nuances of taste.
Around seventy wineries will offer tastings available on the portal of the Association which created the event in 2009, improving it year after year to bring it closer to the desires of wine lovers attracted by the beauty of the UNESCO Hills, by the numerous historic homes - castles, abbeys, restaurants, taverns - which nestle along the over ninety kilometers of panoramic itinerary and the uniqueness of the Strada del Prosecco e Vini dei Colli Conegliano-Valdobbiadene which holds the record as the longest-running wine artery in Italy (inaugurated in 1966).
