A 65-year-old worker died yesterday afternoon in the Turin area, falling during crane assembly operations.
It was 5pm and the man was working in Rivoli on a construction site in via Cesare Battisti and fell from a height of twenty-seven metres.
Rescued immediately, he was taken to Rivoli hospital in 1218 with a series of traumas and died.
Staff from Spresal, the Workplace Prevention and Safety Service of ASL To3, went to the site of the accident and investigations are also underway by the Carabinieri into the causes and dynamics of the incident.
