A 2-month-old baby died following a Russian missile attack overnight that hit civilian buildings and a hotel in the eastern Kharkiv region of eastern Ukraine, governor Oleg Synegubov said on Telegram, quoted by national media.
The newborn was born on December 4, 2023.
Three women aged 21, 28 and 39 were injured in the attack, including the child's mother.
“At around 2.30 am in Zolochiv, Bogoduhiv district, a hotel was destroyed following attacks with S-300 missiles. A 2-month-old baby died,” Synegubov wrote, “another act of terrorism against civilians".
Furthermore, Syniehubov reported that a person is under the rubble of a three-story hotel destroyed overnight in the Russian attack in the Kharkiv region.
"The occupants struck in Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district. A three-story hotel was destroyed. There is a person under the rubble... There is also a fire on the facade of a shop," Syniehubov wrote, adding that two women and a man were rescued.
Moscow, drone over Belgorod region, damage to homes
The governor of the Russian region of Belgorod, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that during the night the city of Gubkin was attacked by a drone and several homes were damaged.
Rbc-Ucrcaina reports it.
In the attack, Gladkov wrote on Telegram, four homes suffered damage to their windows, roofs and facades.
At the moment there is no news of any injuries or victims.
