The United States carried out a new attack yesterday afternoon against the Houthis in Yemen, targeting two marine drones loaded with explosives: the US military command in the Middle East (Centcom) announced this on X.
The army carried out "a self-defense attack against two surface marine drones loaded with explosives around 3.30pm (Sanaa time)", 1.30pm in Italy, the message said.
US forces "identified" these drones in "Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen" and believed they posed "an imminent threat to US naval and merchant vessels," the statement continued.
