Step-by-step preparation of the donuts
Mix the milk, sugar, yeast and about a third of the flour together.
Let the dough rest in a warm place for a quarter of an hour.
Then add the remaining ingredients to the bowl.
Knead the mixture with the mixer (use the dough hook) for ten minutes.
A smooth dough should then be created.
Form the dough into a large ball.
Cover this with a cloth.
You should let the dough ball rise for around 45 minutes.
Tip: You have given the dough enough time to rest when it has roughly doubled in volume.
You can now shape dough pieces from the risen dough as you wish.
If you have worked with the information above, you will get around 15 portions.
Place the small pieces of dough on a floured baking tray with a little distance between them.
Then a little patience is required again, let the donuts rest for around ten minutes.
In the meantime, you can fill a large pot with oil and heat it up.
Depending on the size of the pot, you can place two to three pieces of dough face down into the hot oil.
Briefly place the lid on the pot and let the pastries fry for two to three minutes.
Then turn the donuts over.
Take the finished donuts out of the oil and let them drain on a cake rack or kitchen paper.
You can fill the cooled donuts with jam using a piping bag.
If desired, drizzle the top of the pastry with cinnamon and sugar.
Alternatively, you can also use powdered sugar.
Bon appetit.
Tip: Heat the oil slowly.
You can test the temperature with a thermometer.
The oil should be around 170°C
have.
If you don't have a thermometer at hand, you can also use a wooden stick.
If bubbles rise on the stick, the oil is really hot, informs
