“Those we were”, the first single by Pierre Garnier, winner of the Star Academy, will be available from Tuesday at midnight on music platforms.
In the middle of a media tour since his victory, the 21-year-old Norman announced the news this Monday via an Instagram story.
Less than a week after the victory of the native of Villedieu-les-Poêles, the announcement will delight fans of the artist with the hoarse voice.
A title known to spectators
This song is not completely unknown to Star Ac viewers.
Last Saturday, during the Star Academy final, the candidate had the opportunity to perform it live on the set of studio 104, thanks to a helping hand from singer Dadju.
While they were performing the song “Complicated”, the artist interrupted the duo live.
“Today, I want to have fun and I don't want us to sing Dadju, I want us to sing Pierre,” he declared, leaving the opportunity to academician to sing his composition, taken up in chorus by part of the public and by his classmates.

“I wasn’t aware of it at all.
It was Dadju who took this initiative and it was a huge gift that he gave me,” Pierre confided to Le Parisien the day after his victory.
A title composed in a few hours
The title, composed by the winner and two friends a few weeks before Star Academy, evokes the end of a romantic relationship.
“We were trying to write a song and couldn't do it.
We asked ourselves
what connects us the most?
and we thought about romantic relationships that don't end very well, he said.
We all put in our experiences and, in an hour, it was over.”
Facing the other finalist Julien, Pierre won 100,000 euros and the recording of an album.
A first opus already under consideration which should include “quite a bit of guitar”, according to the Norman.
“I just know that I will sing in French and that there will be my touch, so quite a bit of guitar,” the winner still mentions in the columns of Le Parisien.
Afterwards, I like a lot of different styles, so I'm going to try to condense everything to find my own.
I want an album that looks like me.”
