There are those who like to shower and there are those who really, really like to shower.

Hollywood star

Jessica Biel

, the wife of singer

Justin Timberlake

, made headlines when she revealed her obscene shower habit that makes her spend a long time there and made some of her TikTok followers sick to death.

Some of them even think that what she is doing is worse than peeing in the shower.

Jessica Biel is remembered by most of us from the horror film "Texas Saws", the drama "Master of Illusions" and the biographical drama "Hitchcock".

The 41-year-old actress shares with her husband Justin Timberlake two children, 8-year-old Silas and 2-year-old Phineas.

Although the couple regularly appear at red carpet events, they keep their children away from the cameras.

Now the children will have to deal with negative exposure that their mother received, even though her intentions were certainly innocent.

Bail said that the very, very, very strange thing she likes to do in the shower is... eat.

No, she doesn't mean sitting in a bubble bath with a glass of wine but actually eating.

She enters the shower with dinners, snacks and wine and enjoys being fed under the stream of water.

She said it was a very satisfying experience, recommended using the soap shelf in the shower as the dining table and added that she believed it was the perfect form of multitasking.

In her revealing video, she said: "I think some of you may already know this about me, but I like to eat in the shower. I like to eat and drink in the shower. Food details that are suitable for the shower, like cereal or yogurt, coffee, tea, popsicles. I know, effect The melting works. But it's safe, you know, it goes down the drain. Everything that falls goes there, so everything's fine."

After the video went viral, Biel clarified in another video: "Guys, thanks for all the questions about eating in the shower. I'm just so excited that you all are so interested. I really want to start a movement, an eating in the shower movement."

She added: "I like to take a bite or a sip and put it on the shelf, then you get on with yours. You wash your hair, make sure the soap stays off the food, that's important. It's pretty simple, guys. You can do it. I find it very satisfying."

Bail is just reminding herself (and us) not to forget to close her mouth when she eats in the shower.

"The only tricky thing is that when you're chewing, you have to close your mouth. I like to go under water while I'm chewing. For whatever reason, I want to open my mouth at the same time and spit out water."

She concluded: "Chew, don't open your mouth and don't let the shower water get in... Enjoy your shower."

Opinions on the subject were divided.

Many thought that Bale fell on her head (in the shower): "Actors are a crazy people," wrote one, and another added: "I don't think food should be anywhere near the bathroom."

"Everything is fine with you?"

asked a concerned follower and another added: "Sorry but this is very strange. It's not normal."

Others applauded the idea.

"I have four children. They eat my food. I stand behind this idea 100 percent. This is the only place to get privacy," wrote a desperate mother and another added: "I think the idea is to hide from your family. That's what I call it."

Another wrote: "It's the kind of thing that a mother of children should do. I'm going to try it."

Another viewer found a compromise: "Food is not allowed in the shower, but drinking is perfectly fine."

But is it healthy or dangerous?

There's not a lot of research done on the health risks of eating in the shower, Keith Schneider, a professor of food safety at the University of Florida, told TODAY.com.

But "the organisms in your shower are probably no worse or no better than the harmful organisms that can be found in the kitchen," he clarifies.

"The biggest concern would be the potential for fecal contamination (of food), and I don't know if there's any additional risk there. I would say that eating very hot food when you're naked could be problematic."

Martin Buckenwage, a food safety expert at Penn State University, found some additional downsides to snacking in the shower.

First, if eating in the shower prolongs the time spent in it, it is a waste of water and energy from heating the water, he says.

Second, the water from the hair may drip into the food and "while the risk of transferring bacteria in this way is low, it is not a zero risk."

What's more, the surfaces in and around the shower, such as the curtain, walls and floor, are home to "many potential microorganisms," including ones that can cause illness, he says.

Eating in the shower can increase the risk of your food and your body coming into contact with them.

"In general, the only part of our body that touches these surfaces is the bottom of our feet. But if you're trying to take a shower and at the same time handle food in the shower, you're likely to have more contact with these contaminated surfaces," he warns, adding that if you still want to Eating in the shower is very important to clean it very frequently: "particles and food substances will be scattered by splashing onto different surfaces in the shower, including the walls and the floor, where there is a higher probability that they will stick."
