According to the newspaper, Jacquot, 77 years old and with an upcoming film, "clearly denies the claims and accusations" of the actress, who is 25 years younger than him.
Their relationship began in 1986, when she was 14 years old and she was taking her first steps in cinema.
They lived together without hiding, indeed, buying an apartment in Paris.
They separated in 1992. The actress, who received a César nomination for Best Female Hope in 1991, later became one of the most important actresses in French cinema.
"Ridicule", "The Man in the Iron Mask" with Leonardo DiCaprio and "The Spanish Apartment" were among the most popular films in which she starred.
She then retired to live in the United States, making a return to French screens last year to reveal the dark side of her relationship with Jacquot, which her parents did not hinder.

According to the actress's lawyer, Godrèche filed a complaint for violence.
