.

According to what we learn, an agreement was found at the end of a series of meetings between the police headquarters and the leaders of the farmers' movement.

Around 1500 people with ten tractors will participate in the event.

Initially the group had asked for a procession on the Grande Raccordo Anulare for the same day.

Video Sanremo, Enrico Lucci to Amadeus: 'Did you regret inviting the tractors?'

"No, not portrait", Amadeus replies smiling to a question from Enrico Lucci, correspondent for Striscia la Notizia, who jokes about Minister Lollobrigida's alleged irritation towards the festival for the invitation to the tractors.

For the Rome event, Circo Massimo hypothesis

"We are expecting thousands of vehicles, including tractors and trucks, for next week's demonstration in Rome which could be held at the Circus Maximus".

Danilo Calvani, leader of the Betrayed Farmers CRA, said this.

"Tomorrow the mobilization will start and the garrisons around the capital will begin to fill up - he adds - we don't know the exact day of the demonstration, but presumably in the second half of next week. We don't want party flags, union flags or politicians. We are apolitical".

Tractor protest concluded in Grosseto, departure for Rome soon

The farmers' demonstration in Grosseto concluded.

About 30 of them, with their respective tractors, spent the night in the countryside around the capital of Maremma, in the Spadino area, after the demonstration which yesterday brought over 260 vehicles to the city, in two separate processions coming from Rispescia and Braccagni.

Around 2pm the farmers returned to their respective companies.

Between tomorrow and Friday the organizers will decide when the departure for Rome will be.

"We are waiting for authorization from the police headquarters to be escorted - said Fabio Mecarozzi, one of the organizers of the demonstration -. We will not stop. We will reach the capital from every part of Italy waiting to speak with the Government".

Farmers in the Neapolitan area

Protest by farmers also in Acerra (Naples), where since this morning around thirty tractors have been positioned near the "Le porte di Napoli" shopping center in nearby Afragola.

The protesters, who are increasing by the hour, announce that they will remain in permanent garrison until Friday, when they will reach Rome for the demonstration with their colleagues from the rest of Italy.

"In the agricultural supply chain - explains Filippo Di Marco, on behalf of the Acerra farmers - it is the consumers and we the producers. We sell the products at a price which then increases dramatically on the supermarket shelves. The costs for us are very high, and the Our sector is brought to its knees by foreign competition as the rest of Europe is more competitive due to the use of pesticides which are banned here. The Government must listen to us, we are ready for an all-out protest."

The farmers positioned the tractors on the edge of the road without creating any particular inconvenience to vehicular traffic.

Plantedosi, tractor protests handled impeccably

"A civil way of representing the protest which up to now we have been managing in an impeccable manner": this is how Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi responded to a question about the farmers' initiatives with their tractors.

"I want to thank the prefects and police commissioners above all who are mediating and having the collaboration of the organizers so that there is a balance between the need to demonstrate but at the same time not to affect what are issues of public order and safety" , added Piantedosi at the end of the Public Safety Committee which took place in Perugia.

Tractors in L'Aquila in view of Prime Minister Meloni's visit

A new mobilization of farmers and breeders has taken place since late morning today in L'Aquila due to the visit of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for the signing with the Region, at the Park Auditorium, of the agreement for the quantification and use of the Funds of development and cohesion (FSC), of the 2021-2027 programming.

With tractors, signs and tricolor flags, the demonstrators gathered in the car park in front of the Piazza d'Armi market in a point clearly visible from Viale Corrado IV, the city's entrance artery.

The protesters, primarily the young breeders Ilenia Mora and Marina Crescenzi, asked for the possibility that a small delegation (maximum four people) be authorized to reach the prime minister to give her the reasons for the protest.

Among the requests to the government, the reduction of excise duties on fuels for agricultural use;

the need to draw up a common agenda of the measures to be adopted with institutional representatives;

the need to avoid the introduction of Irpef on agricultural land as well as the obligation to insure agricultural vehicles used solely on private properties or companies.

Active policies are also requested for the containment of wildlife that damages agricultural production, as well as the sharing of choices regarding protected areas.

Furthermore, farmers and breeders reiterate the need for concessions for the protection of the most disadvantaged areas, as well as that of renegotiating the CAP to adapt it to the needs of companies and guarantee secure payments.
