The club allowed itself a small departure from its travel policy last weekend, for a match played near Lens (North).
“A few players had late professional obligations on Friday,” explains Louise Narbonne, captain and passer of REC Volley.
We had to make the round trip from Rennes during the day on Saturday.
So we traveled by minibus and not by train, for once.

The Rennes Étudiants Club is part of a category of associations that are still a minority in the French sporting landscape - but with an increasing number of members - for whom the defense of the environment is almost as important as competitive results.
At REC Volley, we systematically favor travel by train for matches and public transport - offered to pro and semi-pro licensees -, or cycling to come to training.
