Preparation is so easy:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.

  • Place dates in hot water until soft.

    Wash apples, peel if desired and remove core.

  • Put the dates, apples, cinnamon, lemon juice and honey in a blender and puree until fine.

  • Stir in the oat flakes and form small balls out of the mixture with wet hands.

  • Place the balls on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. 

  • Let the balls cool and roll them in coconut flakes, cocoa powder or other toppings.
