Also, the flooding events that occur every winter in the area were solved by planning a flow channel in a natural way, around which a 'river park' will be established for the well-being of the residents of the place and the settlement.

The plan also preserves open spaces that are part of an ecological corridor of environmental importance.

The Chairman of the National Planning Headquarters and the Chairman of the National Assembly Rabbi Natan Alantan: "The plan presents planning that takes care of all the needs and interests in the area, by adding new housing units in a variety of constructions, including small units while maintaining a quality residential structure."

Einav Ringler, Director of the Senior Division for Planning and Projects at the Israel Land Authority, welcomed the decision to approve the plan and noted that "a new, high-quality neighborhood will be built in Gan Yavneh that will strengthen the settlement and add approximately 1,690 housing units in a diverse mix that also includes sheltered housing and small apartments designed while mixing uses with commercial spaces and employment.

The proposed complex integrates into the existing settlement and connects to the nearby neighborhoods through a system of paths and roads that encourages walking and the use of micro-mobility means while maintaining access to the open spaces in the area.

To the south of the proposed neighborhood, another RMI plan is being promoted that expands the employment area in the south of the settlement and has been published for deposit these days. The two plans together will help the further development of the settlement, its strengthening and growth."

The HTML planner, Ed. Sigi Barry: "The proposed planning is intelligent in balancing the built space with environmental needs within its boundaries, and optimizes the use of the land while taking into account the existing urban fabric.

The planning presents an accessible and available public space while preserving natural values."
