EU institutions reach agreement on EU directive for platform workers.

The European Parliament and the representatives of the Member States reached a provisional agreement at Thursday morning's trilogue on new rules to improve the working conditions of workers such as riders and drivers who work for the giants of the digital economy.
The new measures, the text estimates, should affect over 30 million workers in Europe, the text explains.
