EU institutions reach agreement on EU directive for platform workers.
The rapporteur of the text for the European Chamber, the PD MEP, Elisabetta Gualmini, made this known via X.
The European Parliament and the representatives of the Member States reached a provisional agreement on the new rules to improve the working conditions of workers such as riders and drivers who work for giants of the digital economy at the trialogue on Thursday morning.
The new measures, the text estimates, should affect over 30 million workers in Europe, the text explains.
