Then you should choose one of these ten breeds - these dogs are known for not being particularly communicative.
The reasons for this vary: some giants like the Newfoundland dog simply do not need to attract attention in any other way for visual reasons alone.
Companions like the Labradoodle have a naturally sunny disposition, but hunting dogs need to be quiet when working.
The Basenji, on the other hand, cannot bark at all - he is anatomically unable to do so.

An old folk wisdom says that small dogs bark more than big ones.
This is not necessarily true, because some minis are also gentle companions.
However, among the small breeds there are some who bark a lot and will certainly give you little peace and quiet.
These include breeds such as the Beagle, the Jack Russell Terrier and the Miniature Schnauzer.
But the German Shepherd also likes to keep his flock together with loud barking.
