There is a new chapter in the legal dispute activated by Margherita Agnelli, daughter of the lawyer Gianni Agnelli, for issues that revolve around her parent's inheritance.
After a complaint from Margherita herself, the Turin prosecutor's office started investigations into possible tax violations.
Today, on the indication of the public prosecutors, the financial police have acquired copious documentation in various locations.
The prosecutor's file does not concern the trustees of the group controlled by the Agnelli family, as informed sources specify.
The spotlight, in fact, would have been lit on the tax treatment of the lifetime payment that Margherita paid to her mother, Marella, by virtue of agreements made in 2004.
The years examined are 2018 and 2019. The prosecutor's file, in fact, does not concern the fiduciaries of the group controlled by the Agnelli family, as informed sources specify.
The proceedings are not against unknown persons.
Three entries were made in the register of suspects.
The names are those of the Turin accountant Gianluca Ferrero (current president of Juventus who is absolutely unrelated to the affair), Robert Von Groueningen, administrator of Marella Agnelli's inheritance on behalf of the Swiss judicial authority, and John Elkann, son of Margherita Agnelli, the presenter of the complaint.
