Judith Raker's children's book “Judith's Little Farm”
Judith Rakers told NDR
that after 19 successful years at the “Tagesschau” it was now time to devote herself to other projects
.
In addition to the shift work in the news area, there was not enough space in the diary for many things.
In addition to her TV appearances, her great passion is writing books about vegetable growing and gardening.
Her first children's book “Judith's Little Farm” will also be published shortly.
When Jack the cat moves to Judith's small farm, a big adventure begins.
There are lots of other animals living here - and Judith, who really wants to grow vegetables but doesn't have a green thumb.
On his forays, the little tomcat also learns a lot about growing vegetables and the lives of the other animals in the garden.
A funny and lovingly illustrated non-fiction picture book that is also fun for parents - with information texts and instructions for imitating.
Blurb/Cosmos
Jack, the tabby tom, is new to the farm and looking for new friends.
His first few months were anything but easy because no one really liked him.
When Judith adopts him and takes him to her farm, everything changes for Jack.
He manages to make friends.
Little by little he learns from the farm animals and other creatures how vegetable cultivation works and how things don't always work out, for example when the plants are infested by snails.
A plus point is the publisher's app, which allows you to have the story read to you by the author.
