"If we had been in a court of law, everything that happened would have been considered a contempt of court."
This was said in a press conference in the Chamber by the vice-president of Montecitorio Giorgio Mulè who had been appointed by the president of Montecitorio Lorenzo Fontana to preside over the jury of honor requested by the M5S leader Giuseppe Conte to rule on the dispute with the prime minister Giorgia Meloni regarding the membership of the Italy at the Month.
"Everything that was said about the fact that the Jury had already reached a vote on a report is false", he assures.
"The passage in which it is said that we were ready to agree with Meloni is devoid of any foundation. The majority concluded nothing because nothing had yet been decided. It is a fact that the only vote recorded until yesterday was unanimity
. I have never denied a minority report", adds Mulè, commenting on the resignations of Stefano Vaccari (Pd) and FilibertoZaratti (Avs) from the Jury and the declarations of the M5S leader Giuseppe Conte who asked for the revocation of the Commission.
