The real income of families per inhabitant in the OECD area fell by 0.2% in the third quarter of 2023 while the real GDP per inhabitant increased by 0.3%: the OECD itself writes this in a note.
In Italy, real family income per inhabitant grew by 1.4% in the third quarter of 2023 compared to -0.4% in the previous quarter.
According to the OECD, the Italian result is mainly due to the "increase in the remuneration of employees and the incomes of self-employed workers".
As for real GDP, again in our country, it increased by 0.1% compared to -0.3% in the previous quarter.
