US Special Prosecutor Robert Hur's investigation into classified papers found in the garage of President Joe Biden's home and in his office at a think tank has concluded without any apparent charges, according to a letter from Attorney General Merrick Garland to Congress.
Politico writes it.
Garland's letter does not include a copy of Hur's report, which is being reviewed by a legal team, and provides few details about the investigation but makes no mention of any allegations.
The investigation concerns classified documents from when Biden was a senator and then vice president with Barack Obama.
The president has always collaborated with the investigators and said he was unaware of the papers found.
Donald Trump, on the other hand, is awaiting trial for withholding and hiding secret papers at Mar-a-Lago.
